Back row Toby Faletau returns to the Dragons team for Saturday's Magners League clash with Munster at Musgrave Park. Faletau had been selected with the Welsh Six Nations squad but withdrew with an ankle injury. Steve Jones will lead the side with the absence of Luke Charteris (rested) whilst wing Matthew Pewtner gets his first start since September, rewarding his recent form in the Premiership.

With Munster's strong form up front, the improvement in the Dragon's pack work will certainly be important. Meanwhile, there's a decidedly fresh look to the Munster selection, particularly so at scrum-half where 21-year-old Conor Murray makes his senior debut alongside Declan Cusack.

For his part, Cusack's only other start was against Connacht around this time last year. The half-back pair are joined in the starting XV by 21-year-old Ian Nagle in the second row and Simon Zebo who will be 21 later this month.

There's still loads of experience in the side including a return to the starting XV for Marcus Horan and Denis Fogarty while the bench looks particularly strong althioyugh still catering for youth in the shape of 21 year old Danny Barnes.

A win over the Highlanders on Saturday would see the Bulls record a 21st successive home victory and move one step closer to eclipsing the Super Rugby competition record of the Crusaders.

The Cantabrians, seven-time Super Rugby champions, currently hold the record for the most consecutive home victories by any team, recoding 26 victories from 2004 to 2007.

The Crusaders kicked off this unbelievable run with a 46-29 victory over the Highlanders in March 2004 and secured their 26th consecutive home win when they defeated the Hurricanes (23-13) in April of 2007.

The Chiefs were responsible for ending this amazing run when they beat the Crusaders, 30-24, on May 4, 2007 in Christchurch. The last time the Bulls lost at home was in April 2008, when the Hurricanes beat them, 50- 22, in Pretoria.

The Stormers historically have the meanest defence of the South African teams in Super Rugby, but they are at their meanest when play the Cheetahs.

The Cape team conceded only 11 tries from their fi ve matches against their Free State opponents at an average of 2.2 per game. This in comparison to their overall average of conceding 2.7 tries per fixture throughout the history of the Super Rugby.

Only the Western Force, at an average of two from their fi ve games, have found try scoring to be a tougher ask against the Stormers. The Cape team have only conceded fi ve tries from their three home games against the Cheetahs.

During last year's Super 14, the hosts conceded one try during their 21-8 victory. In 2008 the Cheetahs ran in three tries before defeating the Stormers 34-22.

The Blues have the most successful Super Rugby franchise that has consistently breached the Cape team's try line.

The Sharks can equal the Bulls' South African record of Super Rugby victories over Australian opposition when they take on the Western Force in Perth on Saturday.

The Bulls have recorded 23 victories over Australian opponents in the history of the competition. The Sharks are on 22 wins - the same number of victories as recorded by the Stormers over teams from Australians.

The Bulls beat the Waratahs eight times, the Brumbies and Reds six times each and Western Force three times. The Sharks have preferred the Brumbies, securing seven wins over them, as well as six against the Reds, five against the Waratahs and four against the Western Force.

This means that the Sharks have an 80% success rate against the Force. On average the Force score 18 points and the Sharks score 24 points. The Teams have met twice in Perth before and both times the winner scored 22 points.

Both teams are unbeaten going into this match but the Sharks have played two and won two while the Force have only played one match as they had the bye last weekend.

In the Force's Round one victory over the Reds they were methodical and Pocock was selective in the rucks that he attacked but very effective. It is difficult to judge the Force's form after one match. At home they have won 41 per cent of their matches compared to 32 per cent of matches away from home so home advantage is not worth too much for the Force.

Quite often when a team sacks their coach during the week the teams becomes a tighter unit and they go on to win handsomely. As Reds coach Ewen McKenzie pointed out in Europe they call it "The Electro-Shock because the coach and the team sparks up".

The first match on Saturday is between the Chiefs and the Rebels. You would have got very long odds if you had bet that the Rebels would be the team going into this match coming off a win and the Chiefs being without a win.

The Rebels last week showed a very different game plan to the one that they had in Round one. Their defence was outstanding and the Brumbies allowed them to stay in the match by conceding penalties.

This week wll be a real test for the Rebels though. This will be their first match against a New Zealand Super rugby team and more importantly their first away from home.

There's definitely something about Friday nights in Johannesburg. It's when the Lions come out to really play - or is it that opponents get nervous after dark in Doornfontein? Whatever the reason, the Lions are a Friday nightteam. The Super Rugby team boast a 45 percent winning record at home on Fridays, compared to their 36 percent winning rate from games hosted on Saturdays.

The Lions have won nine of 20 Friday night matches played at Coca-Cola Park (and in Bloemfontein) during the history of the competition (this is for all Super Rugby games since 1996, including the Cats).

By contrast, on Saturdays, the hosts have managed to win only 21 of their 58 home games. The Johannesburg franchise claimed five of their nine victories against New Zealand opposition on a Friday which includes a 34-27 win over the Blues in 2000, their opponents this weekend.

Their most recent success on a Friday was achieved when they beat the Highlanders by 27-22 in 2009. The Johannesburg franchise failed to win any home games during last season's competition and having lost two matches this year they have lost their last 16 matches.

The Lions only played in one home game on a Friday during last year's Super 14 where the Johannesburg team ran in nine tries before going down 72-65 to the Chiefs at Coca-Cola Park.

This is a very big match. In 2008 these two teams contested the Super 14 final. In that final and all of the last eight clashes between these two teams the Crusaders have won. The closest the Waratahs have come to the Crusaders in their last five matches was in 2007 with a one point loss in Sydney and the last time the Waratahs beat the Crusaders was in 2004 (Score 19-43). That solitary victory was the only tim in ten matches that the Waratahs have beaten the Crusaders in New Zealand.

However this could be perfect timing for the Waratahs. They will go into this match brimming with confidence and leading the Super rugby table. Having secured bonus point wins in both of their matches they will have dusted off the cobwebs.

The Crusaders on the other hand have played one match and lost one match. It has been well documented that they will be full of emotion and playing for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake and the Pike mine disaster but they will have had little game time and a big start by the Waratahs could catch them cold.

On average the Crusaders score 29 points and the Waratahs score 21 points in these matches and that figure is not really distorted by the freak 96-19 score when the Crusaders won in 2002 if you look at the recent scores. This match will be memorable for a number of occasions and one of them will be the first time that Sonny Bill Williams plays for the Crusaders. Rob Horne should have his hands full on this occasion.
