Mexico finished second in group A and were level on points with South Africa; they made it through to the next round on goal difference. Their last game of the group was against Uruguay and that game ended with a 1-0 loss. Mexico know that beating Argentina in the next round will be difficult but they are sure to give it their very best shot.
Argentina had a perfect start to their World Cup; three games and three wins. Their last encounter was against Greece and this ended with a 2-0 for the South Americans. We are now over half way through the 2010 World Cup and the Argentineans are looking good to go all the way. The plan will be to deal with Mexico in much the same way as they have dealt with the rest of the competition along the way – with minimum fuss.
