Brazil will be hoping to make up for a disappointing performance in the 2006 world cup and mount a real challenge for a sixth title. Coach Dunga will be hoping that his side can rediscover their touch and put one over Chile. Brazil have had comfortable wins over Chile in the qualifying rounds and will hope to continue in the same vein. Dunga is expected to field a strong line-up against Chile with Kaka returning to the side after sitting out the 0-0 draw against Portugal due to suspension.
Meanwhile Chile have had a wonderful start to the world cup although they lost 2-1 to Spain in their final group game. The South Americans will feel confident of humbling Brazil and coach Marco Biesla will field his strongest team on Monday. He will be without Ponce and Estrada due to suspensions. The latter picked up a red card against Spain, while the former picked up two yellow cards during the group stages.
